School of Hard Knocks
There was nothing lukewarm about Abraham's intent or mission, he was fully equipped with the belief that God would provide through the resurrection power of God. He was willing and obedient. Not only that we see that he was diligent and prepared.
Jus Josef brings us part 2, “Willingness” in his exclusive devotion entitled “The Provision Series.” The second part of “The Provision Series” follows last weeks ideas of "being serious about our commitment to God" as a precursor to seeing His divine provision evident in our life. Also, we explored, briefly, Abraham's patience as he waited for God's promise. We explored ideas of discipline and positioning
One of the bigger arguments of today’s skeptics concerns the ability of God to provide for His people. I have even met members of the church who don’t believe God is still in the business of providing. One of the names of our God, is Jehovah Jireh or “the Lord will see to it” or the “the Lord will provide”.
