Cut Off - John 15:1-2 - Devotion

Cut Off – John 15:1-2 – Devotion

What’s the difference between pruning and being cut off?

We all have our ups and downs and sometimes God has to discipline or prune us so we won’t get stagnant or infectious to the whole tree or even the vineyard.

By doing this, God gives us an opportunity to be useful in the vineyard. To allow us to go out and make more disciples and baptize people in Jesus name.(The Great Commission) (Matthew 28.)

What happens if we’re unproductive or infecting the tree?

Being unproductive, trying to block or detour God’s plan and God’s people to bearing fruit-(recruitment for the Kingdom of God) will pronounce you as worthless or infectious. If God considers you worthless, infectious or non-fruit bearing for His purpose; you will be “cut off“, burned in the fire.

““I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” John 15:1-2
