“Changing the Culture 4 God” #Chh #Christianhiphop #tBK247

Dear Christian,

Don’t bite your tongue holding back on the TRUTH (John 14:6). Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15).” What would’ve happened if Jesus took the safe route? Following the broad road may seem like the in thing to do, but Jesus encourages us all to take the road less traveled, which is harder and uncomfortable but will pay off eternally (Matthew 7:13-14).

Jesus asked, “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you (Luke 6:46)?”

Traditions and culture are driven to resist God and His Word (Matthew 15:3, John 15:18-19). It seems people pay most attention to advice when it’s not from a bible verse, not realizing that following scripture is followed by needed solutions (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Honestly, are there answers and solutions out there to the hard realities people face that triumphs Jesus (Philippians 2:9-11)? If what we speak and do doesn’t line up with the Word of God, could the freedom of speech and creative authority we hold on to be holding us in a cage? Sure, we are free to do as we please but everything isn’t beneficial (Romans 1:18-32, 1 Corinthians 10:23).

Glorify God (Isaiah 43:7, Colossians 3:17), preach the Word of God (Psalm 107:20), be a peculiar people (1 Peter 2:7-10), be separate from the world (2 Corinthians 6:14-18, Ephesians 5:11), be God’s light (John 1:1-5). “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience (Ephesians 5:6).” “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death (Proverbs 16:25).” We need the Word of God preached (Romans 10:14-15) to develop faith (Romans 10:17) because without faith we cannot please God (Hebrews 11).

It is too easy to call Jesus Lord, say with our lips we love Jesus, and never make a change then wonder why our lifestyles remain the same (Matthew 7:21-24). When everyone else is playing it safe and compromising the message of the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, fight the good fight “in Jesus name”. We are never truly free unless the Son of God, Jesus (the Word of God: Revelation 19:13) sets us free indeed (John 8:36). Jesus said, “Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me (John 14:24).”

“In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were working for the Lord, not for men. Remember that you will receive your reward from the Lord, which he promised to his people. You are serving the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24).”
