We Are Different “Devotion”

Why are we suppose to be different?

I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy. (John 16:20 NLT)

Focus on God and not the “things” of this world. As Christians we live different than the world. The world chases after material things and we chase after spiritual. For The Lord told us to put our treasure in heaven were it won’t be corrupted. (Matthew 6:19-21)

When Jesus left we were sad, the world was happy and when He returns we will rejoice and the world will mourn. This is why we weep when the world rejoices and we rejoice when they mourn, we are different!

Prayer: Lord help me to focus on you even if life is difficult now, knowing one day we will rejoice. Help me to Keep my eye on the future and on God’s promises.

We as Christians should seem to be different. To the world, but some times we let our selfs get druged into the ways of the world. I my self am guilty of this, the world fears what it dont understand .that is why the world persecuted Christ for saying he was God’s Son. For he is the way to his father.I pray daily to God to keep me on the wright path. But yes we as Christians we should seem different from the world. Amen!!!!
