I Surrender “Devotion”

I surrender all my burdens to You!

Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms. Interlude (Psalms 68:19 NLT)

“You would rather see me mad, than tired.”

I know there is a lot of times in my life that I’ve used this same phrase. I feel like I’m the one who originated it but at the same time what am I really saying? Am I giving up? Am I letting all my frustrations build and build and build until I get to a point where I just can’t take it anymore?

I’m Tired

Why do we wait until we are hurt, beat, battered and bruised to surrender it all to God? Why do we not surrender and praise the only One that can deliver us from our circumstances?

Whatever trails, storms, chains, depressions, guilt’s, sins, elusiveness, stubborn husbands, stubborn wife’s, stubborn children, sickness, weakness, insecurities, anger, fear, hurt, abused, loneliness, unemployment, car problems, foreclosures, death of a loved one, the feeling of being unloved or you might just be having a bad day, week, month or year; I ask you to stop right now and say;

“God I’m tired of trying to fight this battle all by myself. I SURRENDER all of me to YOUR WILL for me, In Your Son’s name Jesus Christ I pray, AMEN.”
