JDun has just dropped his second single THIS WEEK! “The Limits” is one of JDun’s best singles to date and features God Over Money’s own Datin.
Baton Rouge, LA – No matter who you are, we have all had to face limitations and obstacles that challenge our faith. Philippians 4:13 declares that through Christ “we can do all things”. Rapture Ready Productions artist JDun’s new single, “The Limits”, is that scripture fulfilled in rap form.
JDun has been dropping banger after banger this year. “The Limits’ ‘ is his fourth single in 2020! With the inclusion of God Over Money Artist, and Menace Movement CEO, Datin, this new single pushes the limits of JDun’s musical catalogue. Matching Datin’s lyrical versatility with JDun’s harmonic flow yields a CHH banger for the ages.
“All of my life, I have been placed in a box and told what I can and cannot do” JDun said. “When I gave my life to Christ I learned I can do all things through Him. This song is the anthem of my life. Adding the bro Datin to this one was a no brainer. Every time I hear this song it’s an encouragement to me!”

I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Growing up in the city, I was your average kid. In the late 80’s, rap was blowing up and it was everywhere in the culture. Of course I started rapping! At age 17, however, my life changed forever!
I was working on a solo album. The solo album was coming to completion and the local release date was October 31, 2003 (Halloween). I had made about 50 copies that I was going to distribute locally and to radio stations. Afterwards, I was going to meet with a friend of mine who had a connection to a record label in town who may have given me a record deal. It was the night before my release, I was sitting in my bedroom getting my finished CDs packaged up to bring with me to school the next day. All of a sudden, I heard the voice of the Lord. He said, “I have called you to be a Christian rapper.” I felt like time had stopped and I was frozen in the words He spoke to me. From the training I received in my church, I knew that when God speaks, you listen and accept what He says! I accepted the call and His will for my life.
I made a vow to the Lord that I no longer would use my talents to gain fame or riches. Instead, I vowed that I would use my talents to go out and reach the lost by preaching His word in simplicity through the written lyrics He would give to me. My purpose is to be a light of Christ in a dark world, using my music to deliver and comfort people with the message of Jesus Christ!
