Love each other as he has loved us.
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends” John 15:13
Love means to serve, lay down our own needs for Jesus so that his love is seen through us to others. The more we open ourselves to God the more we can love others through his perfect love. God gives us, fills us, through prayer, his words, our studies, and other Christian friends.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” John 15:5
Connect to others. Go through life purposely connecting to others out of this kind of love. Do life together, intentionally to bless and help others.
“that all of them may be one, Father, Jesus as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one. I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17:21-23
Spiritual relationships are intimate relationships that we have with others.
These relationships/connections are to help us grow/connect with God and grow in our love for others.
“as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” Proverbs 27:17
Be intentional. God’s intent if for us to be intentional in all that what we do.
“His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made know to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.” Ephesians 3:10 (NIV)
Living a life of more in this sense means living for our heavenly father. Becoming intentional relationship builders. Looking to connect to others, love others as we have been loved. To show that epic love that he has for us in all that we do, say, and who we are each and every day!
