Meek Heroes drops “Vapor” featuring Deonte Hall!

Our life is but a vapor, it’s here today, and gone tomorrow. As believers in Jesus we understand this reality, and as a result, it drives us to live boldly for Jesus everyday. Even though we understand it, we often need reminders, and Vapor ft. Deonte Hall is one of those reminders.

“Wide awake, do you see? Our life is but a Vapor.” The term “wide awake” here is referring to the believer in Jesus, one who has gone from death to life. The call is to examine our lives, and then find ourselves on our knees, humbled before a holy God, and making the most of our time because the days are evil (Eph 5:16), and time is short (James 4:14).

We were blessed to have our good friend, and brother in Christ, Deonte Hall join us on this one, and he brought the heat. Vapor is a nod to old school hip hop with a modern flair as it doesn’t fall into today’s 2 verses, 2 chorus, and we’re out model, but rather is dynamic in layout and presentation. Another nod to old school hip hop is that there is depth in the lyrical content that is sure to make any listener think, process, and respond.

Vapor is available wherever you listen to music.

Meek Heroes Short Bio:

“Not all heroes wear capes…

We often find ourselves trying to be our own heroes by fighting a cause that wasn’t meant for us. We long to win and we often take on impossible tasks that many times, easily overpower us.

Being Meek Heroes is not about showing off your strength, rather it’s having a confident trust in the Lord and being willing and able to do whatever He commands.

Meek Heroes is a Christian hip-hop duo that views music as one part of their ministry. Dexter and Joe long to engage, equip, and empower the church to be the hands and feet of Jesus. To them, music is a tool that helps bridge the gap, it connects people, and may provide a doorway for a believer to share the good news of Jesus with others. It’s time to rise up!”
