Quarnell “Quan-b” Bledsoe was born in Shreveport, La on August 28, 1991, to Calvin Wayne Goines and Felicia Bledsoe. Growing up in a strict Christian home, only gospel music was allowed to be played in his home. He began writing poetry and award-winning short stories for his high school that took him all over the state of Louisiana. After experiencing many hardships, he developed a great love for music; as it was the only way he could cope with the struggles of a stubborn adolescent. When he was only 16 years old, the Lord began to open his eyes to the people in his community that were slowly perishing. With an effort to reach the youth, Quarnell decided he would listen to a regular hip hop song and create a new version that would be uplifting and praising to God; this began the beginning of his music group “Spiritual Clique Entertainment”. Once people began to listen to his music, they started inviting him to minister his music in churches all over the community of Logansport. In only 2 years of his ministry, Quarnell wrote and recorded all 22 songs on his 3-part mixtape series titled “Holy Mixtape”. He attended Southern University in Shreveport, where after only one year he graduated with a Certificate of Music Technology. After graduating college, Quarnell Bledsoe began investing in his own studio and studio equipment. He went on a city-wide tour, ministering from churches to college campuses. In January of 2012, he performed the song that he is best known for “His Blood” which captured the hearts of the whole audience. In March of 2013 Quarnell signed a one album distribution deal with Tate Music Group, in which he released his first studio album titled, “In God’s Way” of October that same year. Each song was produced by Shreveport’s own Brandon McDonald (a.k.a Big B on Da Track). Comedy:

In 2012 he performed his very first time as a standup comedian alongside actor/comedian Dother Sykes (seen in Snitch, Friday Night Lights, The Butler, and Streets of Blood). Since then he has traveled all over the states doing comedy in the presence of those of Steve Harvey and more. He even landed a small in role in the movie “At Mamu’s Feet” featuring late actor “Tommy Ford, Dorien Wilson, and Carl Anthony Payne. He was co-host of Comedian Dion Jefferson (ComedianDp) Comedy special “Don’t Let The Phone Book Fool Ya” which aired on National Television. He is currently working on his own stand up special to be released next year titled “Finally Out The Box”. At 25 years old, he is a fully dedicated husband (married since 2013) son, Christian rapper and comedian.
