Sherrod White is not new to the Hip Hop community he’s been writing poetry, short stories, and lyrics since he was a young boy. He was born in Fayetteville, NC where he was heavily influenced by every possible genre of music; from Michael Jackson, John Coltrane, Stevie Wonder, Tupac, and Dr. Dre to name a few. Sherrod grew up in a broken home going back and forth between both of his parents. Do to his father being in the military, he had to adapt to new environments and new friends quite often. After graduating from high school Sherrod enlisted in the Army where he served for five years which included two deployments to Iraq. While serving in the military on his downtime he developed a serious love for music as well as for business. After years of depression and anxiety which led to an addiction to prescription pills, Sherrod had an encounter with God. Meeting God head on changed his world view and with his new found faith he began to influence everyone around him with the truth of Christ’s love. Musically, Sherrod describes his sound as a live symphony marrying a jazz band who came together to conceive a Hip Hop child. Lyrically, he has a very unique way of blending his faith and real life situations together. He currently resides in Atlanta with his wife Latrice.
