TORONTO, Canada – October 5, 2018 – Toronto-based rapper/singer Shope (formerly of Role Model Records) releases 6 new songs on the “XXY (Remixes)” EP. As the name implies, these songs are remixes of songs which appeared on the original “XXY” project. The original project was released in May 2018 to rave reviews and has since racked up well over half a million streams.
Referencing the motivation behind the remix EP, Shope says,
“XXY has been my most widely received project to date, so I just wanted to give all the supporters, a new way to enjoy the songs they already love so much.”
Some of the songs remixed include the uber popular “Stay” as well as other favorites like “To Love ft. Sean C. Johnson” and “Getaway”.
The featured producers include powerhouses HXLY KXSS, WYLD, and Quinten Coblentz, as well as newcomers, Jake Harrison, CozyRaps and NDG Creative.
