theBookkeeper247 launched their very own podcast focusing on upcoming Christian artists in a show entitled “Behind the Mic.”
On the 4th episode, part 2 of “Behind the Mic,” Daryl sits down and chops it up with Christian hip hop artist “GitemJay”.
They discuss how some Christian Artists, as well as others, misinterpret scriptures. Also, they discuss where gitemjay met his pastor and the importance of being under a pastor’s leadership. This story is amazing.
We would like to thank everyone, including our new listeners, for joining us. God bless.

My personal thoughts on the interview:
What I liked mostly about the interview with @gitemjay_ is how God can use the filthiest of us for His purpose! Who would of thought God would clean up two convicts to spread His Word.
“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.” 1 Timothy 1:15-16 NIV

About gitemjay:
gitemjay fromerly known as Jus Josef is an independent Christian Hip Hop (CHH) artist from the Pacific Northwest, originally from Los Angeles, CA, he has lived in both Oregon and Washington state.
Josef brings a passionate and raw sound that is a gritty testimonial to the CHH culture. His music reflects the street life but points the discussion towards salvation. He has been rapping since he was a kid, finding himself battling other rappers at local parties.
When he turned 18, Josef began working on making music professionally as a way to escape poverty and depending on drug money as an income stream. His 2018 release, ‘Keys to the Kingdom’, is a message that Josef said: “was inside of me for a long time.” “I want to reach those who come from the streets that may be struggling with their walk. Also, I want to attract the lost and share the gospel with them.”
