There Will Come A Time

Spiritual Food For Your Soul:

““What should we do with these men?” they asked each other. “We can’t deny that they have performed a miraculous sign, and everybody in Jerusalem knows about it.” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“But to keep them from spreading their propaganda any further, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in Jesus’ name again.”” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

There will come a time in all our lives as Christ followers that we will be asked or told not to speak in Jesus’ name.

Whether it be in testimony to non-believers, in our workplace, our children’s schools or with an unbelieving spouse. No matter the situation or circumstances there will be a time when one day someone will ask us not to speak in Jesus’ name.

Will you have confidence, the courage and the boldness to speak in Jesus’ name and stand on the promises of God?

“So they called the apostles back in and commanded them never again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus.” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“But Peter and John replied, “Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him?” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard.”” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4:20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Power Verse:

“God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.” Matthew‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

May the Lord add a blessing to the reader of this devotional, Amen!
