Thus says the Lord: Cursed [with great evil] is the strong man who trusts in and relies on frail man, making weak [human] flesh his arm, and whose mind and heart turn aside from the Lord. (Jeremiah 17:5 AMP).

We are a generation of sight because we only react or respond to things that we can see. Some people cheer and research more about sports than God. They can see the individuals and their ability in the sport. However, the Holy Spirit dwells in some of us but we ignore him. God speaks to us daily, but we ignore Him. We ignore spiritual things because we cannot see them with our eyes.

We trust in things we can see like our car, spouse, family, friend, and job more than God. But God will curse those who trust in man and earthly things and whose mind and heart is against the Lord. We need to understand that the things we see are temporary and spiritual things that are unseen are eternal. Ask God to open your spiritual eyes and allow you to trust in him only.

Heavenly Father, I love you Lord and praise Your holy name. Wrap Your arms around Your people and give them peace, love and joy. Your people need You to touch their mind and heart. Touch and set them free today. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
